Common use of United States Economic Sanctions Laws Compliance Clause in Contracts

United States Economic Sanctions Laws Compliance. The University hereby agrees to comply fully with all applicable economic sanctions and export control laws and regulations, including those regulations maintained by the United States Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). The University understands that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana does not authorize extending coverage to any person to whom the provision of such coverage would be receiving insurance coverage under this or other Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Policies, including Subscribers against all relevant United States Government lists of persons subject to trade, export, financial, or transactional sanctions, including the most current version of OFAC’s list of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons, before providing or agreeing to provide coverage to any person.
