UNLAWFUL PROVISIONS DEEMED STRICKEN FROM CONTRACT. If this Contract contains any unlawful provision not an essential part of the Contract and which shall not appear to have been a controlling or material inducement to the making thereof, the same shall be deemed of no effect and shall, upon notice by either party, be deemed stricken from the Contract without affecting the binding force of the remainder.
