Common use of U.S. Government Encryption and Decryption Clause in Contracts

U.S. Government Encryption and Decryption. Authorizations Boeing shall be responsible for all work and effort associated with applying for and obtaining any U.S. government licenses, approvals, or certifications associated with encryption and decryption capabilities incorporated in the Deliverable Items. Customer shall provide all cooperation reasonably necessary in support of Boeing’s efforts to obtain any such licenses, approvals or certifications. Failure by Boeing to obtain applicable U.S. government licenses, approvals, or certifications associated with encryption and decryption capabilities incorporated in the Deliverable Items, despite Boeing’s Reasonable Efforts to do so, will be considered a Force Majeure event.
