Use and Occupation Charges’ and other sums owed to us. 30.1 If you enter or remain in a property after a tenancy has ended, or before a tenancy has been granted to you, we are entitled to damages for your ‘use and occupation’ of the property. We may send you statements which show the damages that we are demanding for your ‘use and occupation’, which are sometimes known as ‘Use and Occupation Charges’. These are not the same as rent.
