Use of City Funds. As a condition of the receipt of CITY funds amounting to $ during the CITY budget fiscal year 2020/2021, the EVENT HOLDER hereby agrees to use and expend all such funds pursuant to: A. All applicable federal, state, and local laws; and B. The Use of Local Hotel Occupancy Tax Revenues as outlined by the Texas Hotel and Lodging Association. 1. Every expenditure must directly enhance and promote tourism and the convention and hotel industry. 2. Every expenditure must clearly fit into one of nine statutorily provided categories for expenditure of local hotel occupancy tax revenues. a) Funding the establishment, improvement, or maintenance of a convention center or visitor information center. b) Paying the administrative costs for facilitating convention registration. c) Paying for advertising, solicitation, and promotions that attract tourists and convention delegates to the city or its vicinity. d) Expenditures that promote the arts. e) Funding historical restoration or preservation programs. f) Funding certain expenses, including promotional expenses, directly related to a sporting event within counties with a population of under 1 million. g) Funding transportation systems for tourists. h) Signage directing tourists to sights and attractions that are visited frequently by hotel guests in the municipality.
Use of City Funds. As a condition of the receipt of CITY funds amounting to $_$10,000.00 during the CITY budget fiscal year 2020/2021, the EVENT HOLDER hereby agrees to use and expend all such funds pursuant to: A. Use of City Funds. The uses of the City Funds are set forth on Exhibit “E” hereto. All City Funds authorized pursuant to this Agreement shall be expended solely for the purpose of making Disbursements to the Developer for the Verified Direct Costs for any portion of the Public Costs and certain Direct Costs for any Non-Public Costs as authorized by this Agreement and for no other purpose. Upon completion of the Project, payment of all Verified Direct Costs and Direct Costs, as applicable, in accordance with this Agreement, and the application of any cost savings to pay the costs of other City-owned improvements within the Projectdeposit of any cost savings with respect to the $77,700,000 in City Funds budgeted to pay for Infrastructure Improvements into the Facility Capital Fund in accordance with Section 8.9(a) hereof (if applicable), any excess City Funds budgeted for the Project will be retained by the City. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Additional City Infrastructure Contribution shall be made available to the Developer, during the development schedule set forth in Section 13.7 hereof, to pay for enhanced public infrastructure located within the Project that is owned by the City, pursuant to a budget approved by the City Representative and the Construction Inspector from time to time (such approval not to be unreasonably withheld).
Use of City Funds. The uses of the City Funds are set forth on Exhibit “E” hereto. Upon completion of the Project, payment of all Verified Direct Costs and Direct Costs, as applicable, in accordance with this Agreement, and the deposit of any cost savings with respect to the $77,700,000 in City Funds budgeted to pay for Infrastructure Improvements into the Facility Capital Fund in accordance with Section VIII.9.(a) hereof (if applicable), any excess City Funds budgeted for the Project will be retained by the City.
Use of City Funds. County covenants to use the funds provided by the City pursuant to Section (1) (b) this Contract solely for the purchase of books at the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ Free Library.

This mission as defined by the Board of Directors is to educate the community and its visitors about local history by collecting, preserving, and interpreting materials reflecting the heritage of Wichita and Sedgwick County. City funding for the operation of Museum shall be appropriated annually in accordance with the funding agreement in existence between the City and Museum.
Use of City Funds. As a condition of the receipt of City funds totaling $300,000 during City budget year 2017, the BTBC hereby agrees to use and expend all such funds as follows: A) Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) from the City’s General Fund will be used pursuant to the application submitted to the City from the BTBC, attached to this agreement as Exhibit A, in compliance with: 1. All applicable federal, state, and local laws; and 2. The BTBC’s bylaws, as approved and amended by the City Commission; and 3. The 2017 funding application, which state the funds will be used: a) To achieve Growth at the main Lawrence facility; b) To expand KU’s economic development impact; and c) To refine the BTBC business model B) Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) from the City’s General Fund will be used to develop the Lawrence Life Science Incubator along with associated professional talent, specialized equipment and capital. C) Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) from the City’s General Fund will be used to establish an Economic Development Incentive Fund for the purpose of assisting with the recruitment and retention of companies located within the BTBC Incubator or within Lawrence/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. Such funds shall be utilized in accordance with the Fund description incorporated as Exhibit B.
