Common use of Use of Controlled Substance Permits Clause in Contracts

Use of Controlled Substance Permits. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Buyer shall have the right, for a period not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days following the Closing Date, to operate under the licenses and registrations of Sellers relating to controlled substances and the operations of pharmacies, until Buyer is able to obtain such licenses and registrations for themselves. In furtherance thereof, each Seller holding such licenses or registrations shall execute and deliver to Buyer at or prior to the Closing one or more limited powers of attorney substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A.

Use of Controlled Substance Permits. To the extent permitted by applicable law, each applicable Buyer shall have the right, for a period not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days following the Closing Date, to operate under the licenses and registrations of Sellers the corresponding Seller relating to controlled substances and the operations of pharmaciespharmacies and laboratories, until such Buyer is able to obtain such licenses and registrations for themselvesitself. Buyers shall apply for all such licenses and permits as Exhibit A.soon as reasonably possible before and after the Closing and shall diligently pursue such applications.
