Use of Drones. DWTC Health and Safety will no longer give permission for drones to be freely flown within the venue. As you are aware the government is looking at ways to regulate the flying of drones in public areas from a security, safety and invasion of privacy perspective. There have also been a growing number of cases where people have been hit by drones, including in exhibition venues. According to DCAA, all Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS)/Drone activities in the Emirate of Dubai is mandatory to register for assessment and or evaluation as to possible airspace and or protocol restriction reference height, location and others.
