USE OF SYSTEM IS A PRIVILEGE. The use of the school district system and access to use of the Internet is a privilege, not a right. Depending on the nature and degree of the violation and the number of previous violations, unacceptable use of the school district system or the Internet may result in one or more of the following consequences: suspension or cancellation of use or access privileges; payments for damages and repairs; discipline under other appropriate school district policies, including suspension, expulsion, exclusion or termination of employment; or civil or criminal liability under other applicable laws.

USE OF SYSTEM IS A PRIVILEGE. The use of the school district system and access to use of the Internet is a privilege, not a right. If there are violations of this privilege, depending on the nature and degree of the violation and the number of previous violations, unacceptable use of the school district system or the Internet may result in one or more of the following consequences: suspension or cancellation of use of access privileges; payments for damages and repairs; discipline under other appropriate school district policies, including suspension, expulsion, exclusion or termination of employment; or civil or criminal liability under other applicable laws. The superintendent is charged with establishing employee, student, parent, and web page guidelines that are found in the procedural handbook of the Nassau County Schools.

In order to access the system, a user must certify they have read and will comply with the use guidelines and must not have had his or her user privileges withdrawn or terminated within the twelve (12) preceding months for any policy violations. Depending on the nature and degree of the violation and the number of previous violations, unacceptable use of school district technology resources or the Internet may result in one or more of the following consequences: suspension or cancellation of use of access privileges; payments for damages and repairs; discipline under other appropriate district/school policies, including suspension, expulsion, exclusion or termination of employment; or civil or criminal liability under other applicable laws.
USE OF SYSTEM IS A PRIVILEGE. The use of the MASD telecommunication systems is a privilege not a right. Depending on the nature and degree of the violation and the number of previous violations unacceptable use of the district's telecommunication systems may result in the limitation, suspension or revocation of the student’s access privileges. In addition, school disciplinary action may be taken and/or appropriate legal action maybe taken depending upon the severity of the offense.

  • Use of Site 4.13.1 The Contractor shall confine operations at the site to areas permitted by law, including areas designated for operations or prohibited from operations by any applicable permit and or regulation, ordinances, permits and the Contract Documents and shall not unreasonably encumber the site with any materials or equipment.

  • Non-Synchronous Generation The Interconnection Customer shall design its Small Generating Facility to maintain a composite power delivery at continuous rated power output at the high-side of the generator substation at a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, unless the NYISO or the Transmission Owner in whose Transmission District the Small Generating Facility interconnects has established a different power factor range that applies to all similarly situated non-synchronous generators in the control area or Transmission District (as applicable) on a comparable basis, in accordance with Good Utility Practice. This power factor range standard shall be dynamic and can be met using, for example, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors, or a combination of the two. This requirement shall only apply to newly interconnecting non-synchronous generators that have not yet executed a Facilities Study Agreement as of September 21, 2016.

  • Use of Verizon Telecommunications Services 2.1 Verizon Telecommunications Services may be purchased by Connectel under this Resale Attachment only for the purpose of resale by Connectel as a Telecommunications Carrier. Verizon Telecommunications Services to be purchased by Connectel for other purposes (including, but not limited to, Connectel’s own use) must be purchased by Connectel pursuant to other applicable Attachments to this Agreement (if any), or separate written agreements, including, but not limited to, applicable Verizon Tariffs.

  • Use of School Facilities A. The Association shall have the right to use school buildings without cost at reasonable times for Association meetings, provided however, that the Association will be required to pay for any additional custodial cost involved by reason of said meetings. The Principal of the building in question will be notified in advance of the time and place of such meeting.
