Use Within Insurance Coverage Clause Samples
The 'Use Within Insurance Coverage' clause defines the permitted uses of a property, service, or activity that are specifically covered by an insurance policy. In practice, this clause restricts the insured party to only engage in activities or uses that fall within the scope of their insurance coverage; for example, a commercial property may only be used for approved business purposes as outlined in the policy. This ensures that the insurer is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized or excluded uses, thereby allocating risk appropriately and preventing disputes over coverage in the event of a claim.
