SCHEDULE “B” LAYOFF AND TRANSFER CLASSIFICATIONS Lay-off due to a lack of work is determined by the criteria set out in Clause 5.06, and job classifications for the purpose of lay-off and transfer of Employees are as described in this Schedule. Transfers between an area of a department or facility within a branch when there is a shortage of work or a short-term increase in workload in one area of a department or facility the Employer may transfer an Employee to another area within that department or facility in the same job classification. Transfers will first come from volunteers from the area or facility where there is a shortage of work then from volunteers in the rest of the branch. However, if there are insufficient volunteers, the Employee with the shortest length of service in the areas or facility with the shortage of work shall be transferred first, provided the Employee has the qualifications and demonstrated ability to perform the job. These transfers are not to exceed forty-five (45) days without Union approval.

SCHEDULE “B”‌ LAYOFF AND TRANSFER CLASSIFICATIONS Lay-off due to a lack of work is determined by the criteria set out in Clause 5.06, and job classifications for the purpose of lay-off and transfer of Employees are as described in this Schedule. Transfers between an area of a department or facility within a branch when there is a shortage of work or a short-term increase in workload in one area of a department or facility the Employer may transfer an Employee to another area within that department or facility in the same job classification. Transfers will first come from volunteers from the area or facility where there is a shortage of work then from volunteers in the rest of the branch. However, if there are insufficient volunteers, the Employee with the shortest length of service in the areas or facility with the shortage of work shall be transferred first, provided the Employee has the qualifications and demonstrated ability to perform the job. These transfers are not to exceed forty-five (45) days without Union approval.

S CHEDULE “B” LAYOFF AND TRANSFER CLASSIFICATIONS Lay-off due to a lack of work is determined by the criteria set out in Clause 5.06, and job classifications for the purpose of lay-off and transfer of Employees are as described in this Schedule. Transfers between an area of a department or facility within a branch when there is a shortage of work or a short-term increase in workload in one area of a department or facility the Employer may transfer an Employee to another area within that department or facility in the same job classification. Transfers will first come from volunteers from the area or facility where there is a shortage of work then from volunteers in the rest of the branch. However, if there are insufficient volunteers, the Employee with the shortest length of service in the areas or facility with the shortage of work shall be transferred first, provided the Employee has the qualifications and demonstrated ability to perform the job. These transfers are not to exceed forty-five (45) days without Union approval.
