Using Banked Overtime Sample Clauses
The 'Using Banked Overtime' clause defines how employees can utilize overtime hours they have previously accumulated and stored, often referred to as 'banked' time. Typically, this clause outlines the process for requesting time off using these banked hours, any limitations on when or how much banked time can be used, and whether approval from management is required. Its core practical function is to provide a structured method for employees to benefit from extra hours worked, while ensuring the employer can manage staffing needs effectively.
