USING THIS CONTRACT AS COLLATERAL SECURITY. You can assign this Contract as collateral security for a loan or other obligation. This does not change the ownership. Your rights and any Beneficiary's right are subject to the terms of the assignment. To make or release an assignment, we must receive written notice satisfactory to us, at our Customer Service Center. We are not responsible for the validity of any assignment. CHANGING THIS CONTRACT This Contract or any additional benefit riders may be changed to another annuity plan according to our rules at the time of the change. CONTRACT CHANGES - APPLICABLE TAX LAW We reserve the right to make changes in this Contract or its Riders to the extent we deem it necessary to continue to qualify this Contract as an annuity. Any such changes will apply uniformly to all Contracts that are affected. You will be given advance written notice of such changes. MISSTATEMENT OF AGE OR SEX If an age or sex has been misstated, the amounts payable or benefits provided by this Contract will be those that the Premium Payment made would have bought at the correct age or sex. This Contract does not participate in the divisible surplus of Golden American Life Insurance Company.
