Common use of Utilities and Supplies Clause in Contracts

Utilities and Supplies. Manager shall order all utilities, services, materials and supplies reasonably required in the proper day-to-day operations of the Hospital, as required by all laws, regulations, certifications and payer requirements. Manager, on behalf of Owner, shall also arrange and manage the acquisition of all pharmaceutical items for the Hospital, to the extent allowed by law. Manager shall pay for all such utilities, services, materials, supplies and pharmaceutical items following the Effective Date; provided that the cost and expense of utilities, services and supplies as reasonably required up to the Effective Date (including a reasonable and customary inventory in the case of supplies and pharmaceutical items shall be provided at the cost and expense of the District.
