VACANCY REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE. A. 1. In the event a position is vacated for more than thirty (30) days, and it is determined that the position is to be retained, the position vacancy will be posted and filled in accordance with the Promotion and Demotion provisions of this Agreement within three (3) working days, subject to extension by agreement of the parties. The filling of such vacancy will be subject to the seniority and contract rights of the Employee creating the vacancy should that Employee return to work.
