Vacancy Requirement Sample Clauses

A Vacancy Requirement clause sets out the conditions under which a property must remain occupied or cannot be left vacant for extended periods. Typically, this clause applies to leased or insured properties, requiring tenants or owners to notify the landlord or insurer if the premises will be unoccupied for a specified duration, such as 30 or 60 days. The core function of this clause is to mitigate risks associated with vacant properties, such as vandalism, theft, or damage, and to ensure that all parties are aware of their obligations regarding property occupancy.
