Common use of Valid Consideration Clause in Contracts

Valid Consideration. The Executive and Company agree that Company's payment of the Severance Benefits is not required by Company's policies or procedures and is given as consideration for the Release under this Agreement.

Valid Consideration. The Executive and the Company agree that the Company's ’s payment of the Severance Benefits and the Benefit Payments without a signed release is not required by the Company's ’s policies or procedures or by any contractual obligation of the Company, and is given solely as consideration for the Release Executive’s covenants under this Agreement, which both parties acknowledge and agree is sufficient and adequate consideration.
