Common use of Valid Lien Clause in Contracts

Valid Lien. The Ordinance, together with this Agreement, creates a valid lien on, pledge of, and security interest in the Security as security for the Commercial Paper Notes and the Bank Note and for the repayment of the City’s obligations under this Agreement and the other Related Documents, and all action necessary to perfect the lien on, pledge of, and security interest of the Bank in the Security has been duly and validly taken.
