Validating of Invalid Acts. (a) The Parties agree to and consent to, on and from 11.59pm on the day before the date on which the Surrender will take effect under clause 6.2 of this Agreement, the validating of all Invalid Acts that have been, or are being, carried out by the State or any State Party in relation to any part of the Agreement Area. (b) Clause 6.1(a) of this Agreement is a statement for the purposes of section 24EBA(1)(a)(i) of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) and regulation 7(5)(d) of the ILUA Regulations.
