Common use of Validity Clause Clause in Contracts

Validity Clause. In the event that any of the provisions of this Agreement shall become invalid or unenforceable by appropriate court order, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions thereof. It is further provided that in the event any provisions are so invalidated this contract shall be reopened for the express purpose of renegotiating such invalidated or unenforceable provisions, and the balance of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
