Common use of Variation Price Request Clause in Contracts

Variation Price Request. At any time prior to the Date of Completion (but without limiting clauses 5.3 and 9.6), the Contract Administrator may issue a document titled "Variation Price Request" to the Contractor which will set out details of a proposed Variation which the Commonwealth is considering. The Contractor must immediately take all action required under any relevant subcontract in relation to each subcontractor that would be involved in carrying out the proposed Variation. Within 14 days of the receipt of a Variation Price Request (or such longer period as may be agreed by the Contract Administrator) the Contractor must provide the Contract Administrator with a written notice in which the Contractor sets out the: adjustment (if any) to the Contract Price to carry out the proposed Variation; and effect (if any) which the proposed Variation will have on the then current program, including each Date for Completion.
