Vendor Disclosure Statement Clause Samples
A Vendor Disclosure Statement is a clause that requires the seller (vendor) to provide the buyer with specific information about the property or goods being sold. Typically, this statement outlines any known defects, encumbrances, or other material facts that could affect the buyer's decision or the value of the transaction. By mandating transparency from the vendor, this clause helps ensure that buyers are fully informed before completing a purchase, thereby reducing the risk of disputes or claims of misrepresentation after the sale.
