Verification and responses. The Research Council and the Office of the Auditor General are entitled at any time to verify that the funds are being applied in accordance with the contract. Upon a request from the Research Council or Office of the Auditor General, the Project Owner, or any partners, shall produce receipts, time sheets, calcula- tions and any other relevant documentary evidence requested by the Research Council and/or the Office of the Auditor General to carry out verification as indicated above. In the event such verification reveals that the funds are not being applied in accordance with the contract, the disbursement shall be stopped and disbursed funds repaid to the extent required by the Research Council. The Research Council may also stop further disbursements to other projects being implemented between the contracting parties.
