Verifying compliance for Products. (i) Right to verify compliance. Customer must keep records relating to all use and distribution of Products by Customer and its Affiliates. Microsoft has the right, at its expense, to verify compliance with the Products’ license terms. Customer must promptly provide any information reasonably requested by the independent auditors retained by Microsoft in furtherance of the verification, including access to systems running the Products and evidence of licenses for Products that Customer hosts, sublicenses, or distributes to third parties. Customer agrees to complete Microsoft’s self-audit process, which Microsoft may request as an alternative to a third party audit.
