Violation/Sanctions. a. If a staff member violates any District computer regulation, guideline, or administrative directive, the staff member will receive written notice of the violation and the opportunity to present an explanation before disciplinary action is taken. All disciplinary procedures will be conducted in accordance with state and federal law, and, where applicable, this Agreement. b. Included in the possible disciplinary actions that may be taken is removal of the staff member’s computer, elimination of access rights, providing only supervised access to email, as well as other forms of discipline normally associated with just cause and progressive discipline.
