Common use of Virus and Malware Detection Clause in Contracts

Virus and Malware Detection. Each party agrees on an ongoing basis to implement and maintain in those devices and systems used or received by such party to directly access, use or provide a Service that are in such party’s possession or control, reasonable and commercially-available technical safeguards to detect and prevent the introduction of computer viruses, Trojan Horses, cancelbots, or other unauthorized computing routines designed to disable, erase, damage or corrupt software, hardware or data.
