Common use of Visitation and Conduct of Union Business Clause in Contracts

Visitation and Conduct of Union Business. Authorized representatives of the Union may, after notifying the head of the department or delegate, visit the work location of employees covered by this Agreement at a reasonable time for the purpose of investigating conditions on the job. Such representatives shall confine their activities during such investigations to matters relating to this Agreement. Employer work hours shall not be used by employees or Union representatives for the conduct of Union business or the promotion of Union affairs.
