Common use of Voluntariness and Consequences of Denial or Withdrawal Clause in Contracts

Voluntariness and Consequences of Denial or Withdrawal. Employee’s participation in the Plan and Employee’s grant of consent is purely voluntary. Employee may deny or withdraw his or her consent at any time. If Employee does not consent, or if Employee withdraws his or her consent, Employee cannot participate in the Plan. This would not affect Employee’s salary as an employee or his or her career; Employee would merely forfeit the opportunities associated with the Plan.
