Common use of Voluntary Consent Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Consent. This Settlement Agreement and Release is executed voluntarily and without any duress or undue influence on the part or behalf of the Parties hereto. The Parties acknowledge that they: (a) Have read this Settlement Agreement and Release; (b) Have been represented in the preparation, negotiation, and execution of this Settlement Agreement and Release by legal counsel of their own choice; (c) Understand the terms and consequences of this Settlement Agreement and Release and of the agreements it contains; and (d) Are fully aware of the legal and binding effect of this Settlement Agreement and Release.
