Wage Group. C11 Engineering/production employee - Level IV (a) works from complex instructions and procedures; (b) assists in the provision of on-the-job training to a limited degree; (c) Co-ordinates work in a team environment or works individually under general supervision; (d) is responsible for assuring the quality of his/her own work. Indicative of the tasks which an employee at this level may perform are the following: (i) uses precision measuring instruments; (ii) machine setting, loading and operation; (iii) rigging (certificated); (iv) inventory and store control including: (v) licensed operation of all appropriate materials handling equipment; (vi) use of tools and equipment within the scope (basic non-trades) maintenance; (vii) computer operation at a level higher than that of an employee at C12 level; (viii) intermediate keyboard skills; (ix) basic engineering and fault finding skills; (x) performs basic quality checks on the work of others; (xi) licensed and certified for fork-lift, engine driving and crane driving operations to a (xii) level higher than C12; (xiii) has knowledge of the employer's operation as it relates to production process; (xiv) lubrication of production machinery equipment; (xv) assists in the provision of on-the-job training in conjunction with tradespersons and (xvi) supervisor/trainees.
