Common use of Waiver by Spouse Clause in Contracts

Waiver by Spouse. The Spouse of the Annuitant who is a former member or beneficiary may, by giving written notice to the Trustee, waive his entitlement to receive the pension benefit provided for in Section 7 hereof or the life pension provided for in Paragraph 18.b) hereof and may, in the case of the pension benefit, revoke such a waiver by transmitting to the Trustee a written notice to that effect before the death of the Annuitant and, in the case of the life pension, before the date of conversion, in whole or in part, of the Fund.

Waiver by Spouse. The Annuitant’s Spouse of the Annuitant who is a former member or beneficiary may, by giving written notice to the Trustee, waive his entitlement right to receive the pension benefit payment provided for in Section 7 6 hereof or the life pension provided for in Paragraph 18.b) Section 5 hereof and may, in the case of the pension benefit, may revoke such a waiver by transmitting to the Trustee a written notice to that effect before before, in the case referred to in Section 6 hereof, the death of the Annuitant andor, in the case of the life pensionreferred to in Section 5 hereof, before the date of conversion, in whole or in part, of the Fundbalance of the Account into a life pension.
