Waiver of Confidentiality. 12.1 In so far as is necessary for the purposes of the exercise by the Council of powers contained in Lloyd’s Acts 1871 to 1982 or in byelaws or regulations made thereunder, but not further or otherwise, the Corporate Member hereby: (a) consents to the persons listed in clause 12.2 providing to the Council any information or documents relating to the Underwriting or any part thereof, whether or not in response to a request by the Council; and (b) authorises and directs the Agent to waive on its own behalf all duties of confidentiality owed to the Agent by the persons referred to in clause 12.2(b) in respect of such information or documents. 12.2 The persons referred to in clause 12.1 are: (a) the Agent; and (b) any auditor appointed by the Agent.
