Common use of Waiver of County Costs Clause in Contracts

Waiver of County Costs. The County shall not incur any costs due to Small Claims Court appearances by County staff. The Union shall defend, indemnify and save the County harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits, orders, judgments or other forms of liability that shall arise out of or by reason of, action taken or not taken by the County under this article. This includes not only the County's attorney fees and costs but the cost of management preparation time as well. The County shall notify the Union of such costs on a case by case basis. The authorization for payroll deductions described in this article shall specifically require the employee to agree to hold the County harmless from all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability that may arise against the County for or on account of any deduction made from the wages of such employee.
