Common use of Waiver of Protest Clause in Contracts

Waiver of Protest. You waive presentment, notice of dishonour, protest, and notice of protest of any Instrument. You will be liable to us on any Instrument as if it had been duly presented, protested and notice of dishonour and protest had been given to all parties to it as provided by law. We may carry out any such formalities if, in our sole discretion, we consider it in either party's interest. We will not, in any circumstances, be responsible or liable for any failure or omission to present, give notice, have protested or noted for protest any Instrument.
