Common use of Waiver of Right of Recovery and Subrogation Clause in Contracts

Waiver of Right of Recovery and Subrogation. Contractor shall waive all rights against the State of Maryland, MDOT, the Administration, and their authorized principals, officers, directors, employees, servants, subcontractors, agents, volunteers, and representatives for recovery of damages to the extent these damages are covered by the workers’ compensation and employer’s liability or commercial umbrella liability insurance obtained by Contractor.
