Waiver or modification of standards. The Airport Manager may, in their discretion, waive or modify any portion of these minimum operating standards for the benefit of any governmental agency performing non-profit public services, emergency medical services to the public by means of aircraft, or fire protection or fire-fighting operations. The City's Public Works Director or his designee may waive or modify any portion of these minimum operating standards for any person when it determines, in their discretion, that such waiver or modification is in the best interest of the City and will not result in any competitive inequities among Commercial Airport Operators at the airport.
