Common use of WAIVER RE DISTRESS Clause in Contracts

WAIVER RE DISTRESS. The Tenant waives and renounces the benefit of any present or future statute taking away or limiting the Landlord's right of distress, and covenants and agrees that, notwithstanding any such statute, none of the goods and chattels of the Tenant on the Demised Premises at any time during that term shall be exempt from levy by distress for rent in arrears.
