Common use of Waivers by Tenant Clause in Contracts

Waivers by Tenant. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tenant hereby waives and surrenders for itself and all those claiming under it, including creditors of all kinds, (i) any right or privilege which it or any of them may have under any present or future construction, statute or rule of law to redeem the Premises or to have a continuance of this Lease for the term hereby demised after termination of Tenant's right of occupancy by order or judgment of any court or by any legal process or writ, or under the terms of this Lease or after the termination of the term of this Lease as herein provided, and (ii) the benefits of any present or future constitution, statute or rule of law which exempts property from liability for debt or for distress for rent.
