WEEE Regulations. To the extent that the goods supplied hereunder are subject to the provisions of The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 (“WEEE Regulations”), it is agreed, pursuant to regulation 12(2) of the WEEE Regulations that where the goods to be disposed of are: (i) situated in the UK, the Buyer shall be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to the Seller or its authorised agent for disposal in accordance with the WEEE Regulations; and (ii) not situated in the UK, the Buyer shall be responsible for the costs of collection, treatment, recovery and disposal of the goods supplied hereunder and in either case should the Buyer fail to perform its obligations under the WEEE Regulations as specified in this clause the Buyer agrees to indemnify the Seller against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses which may be incurred by the Seller in complying with the WEEE Regulations in respect of such goods supplied hereunder.

WEEE Regulations. In respect of any waste electrical and electronic equipment ("WEEE") or electrical and electronic equipment ("EEE"), as defined in Article 3 of Directive 2002/96/EC and any amendment or re-enactment thereof, which is to be replaced by the Product, and when the Product is to be replaced or becomes WEEE, the Buyer shall, at its own expense, carry out all of the duties in relation to the treatment, disposal, recovery, re-use and/or recycling, and the financing of the treatment, disposal, recovery, re-use and/or recycling as set out in the Directive and applicable national legislation that implements it, as would otherwise fall on the Producer (as defined within the Directive).
WEEE Regulations. 19.1 Buyer shall be solely responsible for financing the collection, treatment, recovery and environmental sound disposal of all waste electrical and electronic equipment relating to the Goods (“WEEE”) such that any obligation imposed in respect of WEEE by any and all laws, regulations, codes of practice and guidance relating to the disposal of WEEE including The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006 and 2018 (“WEEE Regulations”) shall be the responsibility of the Buyer alone save to the extent prohibited by law. 19.2 Buyer shall comply with all obligations placed upon Buyer by the WEEE Regulations by virtue of Buyer accepting the responsibility set out in clause 19.1. 19.3 Buyer shall provide the Buyer’s WEEE compliance scheme operator with such data, documentation, information and other assistance as such scheme operator may from time to time reasonably require to enable such operator to satisfy the obligations assumed by it as a result of the Buyer’s membership of the operator’s compliance scheme. 19.4 Buyer shall provide Company (promptly following Company’s request) with any data, documentation, information and other assistance which Company reasonably requests from time to time to demonstrate Buyer’s compliance with clauses 19.1 and 19.2. 19.5 Buyer shall perform the obligations in clauses 19.1 to 19.4 at the Buyer’s sole cost and expense and hold harmless and indemnify Company, its officers and employees in full and on demand in respect of any liabilities, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonably incurred legal expenses) suffered by them in respect of Buyer’s breach of clauses 19.1 and 19.
WEEE Regulations. 10.1 The Customer shall comply with the WEEE Regulations (to the extent applicable) and/ or shall comply with any instructions or directions stipulated by VCG for this purpose. 10.2 The Customer shall notify VCG in the event it intends to export any of the Equipment outside of the United Kingdom. 10.3 The Customer shall indemnify, defend and hold VCG harmless from any violation or alleged violation by the Customer of paragraphs 9.1, or 9.2 above or of clause 25 of the Agreement, with respect to any Equipment supplied under this Agreement.
WEEE Regulations. The Customer shall comply with the WEEE Regulations (to the extent applicable) and/ or shall comply with any instructions or directions stipulated by VCG for this purpose.

  • Compliance with Regulations The contractor (hereinafter includes consultants) will comply with the Acts and the Regulations relative to Non-discrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, as they may be amended from time to time, which are herein incorporated by reference and made a part of this contract.

  • Export Regulations Licensee agrees and accepts that Software may be subject to import and export laws of any country, including those of the European Union and United States (specifically the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). Licensee acknowledges that it is not a citizen, national, or resident of, and is not under control of the governments of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan or Syria and is not otherwise a restricted end-user as defined by applicable export control laws. Further, Licensee acknowledges that it will not download or otherwise export or re-export Software or any related technical data directly or indirectly to the above-mentioned countries or to citizens, nationals, or residents of those countries, or to any other restricted end user or for any restricted end-use.

  • Applicable Regulations If an issue relating to investments is covered both by this Agreement and by the national legislation of one Contracting Party or by international conventions, existing or to be subscribed to by the Parties in the future, the investors of the other Contracting Party shall be entitled to avail themselves of the provisions that are the most favourable to them.

  • SAFETY REGULATIONS Equipment shall meet all State and Federal safety regulations.
