WELLNESS STIPEND. Each member shall receive an annual stipend for the amount of $1,000.00 to assist them in having a healthy lifestyle. The stipend is intended to be used for gym memberships, wellness workshops or conferences, or annual memberships or subscriptions related to general health and wellness.
WELLNESS STIPEND. A. All affected employees will receive a wellness stipend of up to five hundred dollars ($500.00) per fiscal year to use towards wellness related programs such as the cost of physical examinations, smoking cessation, diabetes management programs, weight loss programs, preventative health screenings, stress management programs, gym memberships, fitness trackers etc. The Human Resource Officer and/or designee shall make the determinations of eligibility for items not listed. This amount shall be cumulative to a total of one thousand dollars ($1,000) every two years. B. Any doctor of the employee’s choice may provide said examination. C. Employees shall provide acceptable proof of participation in a wellness program such as a doctor’s certification, certificate of completion from the wellness related program, statement/receipt for gym membership, etc.
WELLNESS STIPEND. The Wellness Stipend shall be available to employees working thirty (30) hours or more per week in each year beginning July 1, 2008. A stipend of One Hundred Dollars ($100) shall be paid to each such qualified bargaining unit member who uses zero sick days for the quarter. A bargaining unit employee who uses neither sick days nor personal days for the entire contract year shall receive, in addition to One Hundred Dollars ($100) for each quarter, another One Hundred Dollars ($100) for the yearly perfect attendance. The quarters for the twelve-month bargaining unit members shall be: July 1 to September 30, October 1 to December 31, January 1 to March 31, and April 1 to June 30. For a ten-month or 184-day bargaining unit members, the quarters shall run concurrent from the first work day of the school year through the end of the first nine-week grading period, the second nine-week grading period shall be the second quarter, the third nine-week grading period shall be the third quarter, and the first day of the final (fourth) grading period through the last work day of the bargaining unit member’s school year shall be the fourth quarter.
WELLNESS STIPEND. On or about July 1't annually, bargaining unit members shall receive a stipend of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) toward membership at a fitness center in the Town of East Hampton. Section 1- Just Cause ARTICLE XXVI
