Where upgrading involves a job combination(s) the duration of upgrading may be extended to a period of six (6) months. If the combination job function averages twenty (20) or more hours per week and continues beyond six (6) months the employee shall be re-classified to the higher-rated job function and shall be placed on the new scale in accordance with the provisions of Article 18.5.
