Wholly Obtained Goods. For the purposes of Article 4.2, a wholly obtained good of a Party means: (a) mineral and other naturally occurring goods extracted in or from the territory of a Party; (b) vegetable goods4-3, as such goods are defined in the Harmonized System, harvested, picked or gathered in the territory of a Party; (c) live animals born and raised in the territory of a Party; (d) goods obtained from live animals in the territory of a Party; (e) goods obtained from hunting, trapping, fishing, gathering, capturing or aquaculture conducted in the territory of a Party; (f) goods (fish, shellfish and other marine life) taken from the high seas by vessels registered or recorded with a Party and flying its flag; (g) goods obtained or produced on board factory ships registered or recorded with a Party and flying its flag, from the goods referred to in subparagraph (f); (h) goods taken by a Party or a person of a Party from the seabed or beneath the seabed outside the territorial sea, provided that a Party has a right to exploit such seabed in accordance with international law; (i) waste and scrap derived from: (i) production in the territory of a Party; or (ii) used goods collected in the territory of a Party; provided that such goods are fit only for the recovery of raw materials; and (j) goods produced or obtained entirely in the territory of a Party exclusively from goods referred to in subparagraphs (a) to (i).

(g) goods obtained or produced on board factory ships products of sea fishing and other products taken beyond the territorial sea of a Party, including the exclusive economic zone of that Party, by a vessel registered or recorded with in a Party and flying its flag, from the goods referred to in subparagraph (f)flag of that Party;
(h) goods taken by products manufactured on board a factory ship registered in a Party or a person and flying the flag of a Party that Party, exclusively from products referred to in sub-paragraphs (f) and (g);
(i) products extracted from the seabed or beneath the seabed outside the territorial seasea of a Party, provided that a Party has a right they have sole rights to exploit such seabed in accordance with international lawseabed;
(ij) used articles collected in a Party fit only for the recovery of raw materials;
(k) waste and scrap derived from:
(i) production resulting from manufacturing operations conducted in the territory of a Party; or
(ii) used goods collected in the territory of a Party; provided that such goods Party and are fit only for the recovery of raw materials; and
(jl) goods produced or obtained entirely products manufactured in the territory of a Party exclusively from goods referred to products specified in subparagraphs sub- paragraphs (a) to (ik).

(gh) goods obtained products processed or produced made on board factory ships registered or recorded with a Party and flying its flagthe flag of that Party, exclusively from the goods products referred to in subparagraph subparagraphs (f) and (g);
(hi) goods taken by a Party or a person waste and scrap resulting from manufacturing operations conducted there which fit only for the recovery of a Party raw materials;
(j) products extracted from the seabed or beneath the seabed and subsoil outside the territorial seawater of a Party, provided that a the Party has a the right to exploit such seabed or subsoil under domestic legislation in accordance with international law;
(i) waste and scrap derived from:
(i) production in the territory of a Party; or
(ii) used goods collected in the territory of a Party; provided that such goods are fit only for the recovery of raw materials; and
(jk) goods produced or obtained entirely in the territory of a Party there exclusively from goods referred to the products specified in subparagraphs points (a) to (ij).
