Common use of Withholding or Suspending Payments Clause in Contracts

Withholding or Suspending Payments. Notwithstanding any other provision contained in the Allocation Agreement, Treasury may, in its discretion, withhold or suspend making Disbursements to the Participating State for failure to comply with any term, agreement, covenant or condition of the Allocation Agreement. Treasury will generally resume making Disbursements to the Participating State upon the Participating State’s subsequent compliance.
