Without prejudice. 1. Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as prejudicing negotiations with third States with regard to delimitation of the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf in the Timor Sea.

Without prejudice. 1. Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as prejudicing negotiations with third States with regard to delimitation of the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf in the Timor Sea. In exercising their rights as coastal States, the Parties shall: provide due notice of activities conducted on the continental shelf and in the exclusive economic zone consistent with the terms of the Convention; and not infringe upon or unjustifiably interfere with the exercise of rights and freedoms of other States as provided for in the Convention.
