Common use of Work Inspection Clause in Contracts

Work Inspection. A. The Department and any authorized representative of the Department shall have the right, during construction and thereafter, to enter upon and inspect the construction of the Work to ensure that the construction is being and has been performed in accordance with the applicable Federal, State, and /or local requirements, the Guidelines and the terms of this Agreement. Such right to inspect shall include, but shall not be limited to, the right to inspect all work done, all materials and equipment used or to be used, and all books and records, including payroll records, maintained in connection with the construction work. Such right of inspection shall be exercised in a reasonable manner.
