Common use of Work on Rest Days Clause in Contracts

Work on Rest Days. 9.1 Employees required to work on regularly assigned rest days, except when these are being accumulated under Clause 5.2, shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half. 9.2 When the Company requires the patrol of two or more sections on the sixth day of the regular work week as a regular practice, employees assigned to such patrol will be paid at the rate of time and one-half for the time so occupied with a minimum of eight hours work.
