Work Package Leaders. (a) Each Work Package shall be led by an appropriately qualified Work Package Leader as described in Schedule 2. (b) Each Work Package Leader shall be accountable for the delivery of the overall outcomes for the particular Work Package in respect of which he or she has been designated. Each Work Package Leader shall also: (i) manage the activities of his/her team in pursuit of the objectives of the Work Package, (ii) be responsible for the efficient and proper conduct and administration of the relevant Work Package, (iii) be responsible for the timely keeping of proper books and records in respect of both the financial affairs of the relevant Work Package and, as appropriate, the scientific progress and Foreground IP developed in the course of that Work Package and/or any related dissemination and exploitation with a view to ensuring that the obligations with respect to the maintenance of financial, scientific dissemination and exploitation records in accordance with the terms of each Grant Agreement can be complied with; (iv) report on the progress of his/her Work Package to the Consortium Project Manager in the manner described in Schedule 3; and (v) be responsible for notifying the Consortium Project Manager of any Foreground IP.

Work Package Leaders. 10.1 Each Work Package shall be managed by a Work Package Leader. 10.2 The Work Package Leaders with due respect to the Grant Agreement including Xxxxx X (Description of Work) thereto, shall in particular: (a) allocate Work-Package resources among the members of the Work-Package and between Deliverables; (b) monitor progress of the members of the Work-Package and ensure that the deadlines for milestones are met; (c) identify risks at Work-Package level and propose corrective actions in the event of problems; (d) assist the Co-ordinator in ensuring compliance by the Parties of their obligations under the Grant Agreement. Issues that cannot be resolved at Work Package level shall be submitted by the Work Package Leader to the PEB.
Work Package Leaders. The WPLs are responsible for meeting the objectives of their respective WPs and monitoring that the deliverables and the milestones are achieved on time. WPs are split into tasks, each having a task leader. Each task leader is accountable to the WPL. The WPLs and their teams will contribute to the preparation of Internal8 and Periodic Reports9 which will be collated by the Project Manager and reviewed by the Project Coordinator before submission to the General Assembly and the European Commission respectively. Work Package Leaders. Each Work Package Leader shall manage its respective Work Package, in particular with regard to: the timely delivery of reports and Work Package Results to the Management Board and the Coordinator; reviewing the quality of the reports; formulating an implementation plan for the activities within the Work Package for the future period, which can imply proposing to the Management Board changes to the Consortium Plan and/or Annex 1 of the Grant Agreement ; making proposals to the Management Board for the accession of new entities to the Grant Agreement and to the Consortium Agreement in order for said new entities to participate in the Work Package; alerting the Management Board and the Coordinator in case of delay in the performance of the Work Package or in case of breach of responsibilities of any Participant under said Work Package; documenting, at the request of the Management Board, a presumed breach of responsibilities of a Participant under the Work Package and preparing a proposal for remedies to the Management Board; deciding upon any exchange of Tasks and related budgets between the Participants in a Work Package when such exchange has no impact beyond the scope of the Work Package and its budget.
