Work Packages. The project is composed of two Networking Work Packages (NA1 and NA2), two Service Work Packages (SA1 and SA2) and one Joint Research Work Packages (JRA1). SA1 - Maintenance and Support owns the EMI production releases and the associated transition and support procedures. It provides coordination of the EMI user support activities (expert 3rd-level support), and is responsible for the reactive maintenance (software defects fixes) of the EMI services and components. SA1 works closely with SA2 (Quality Assurance) to implement and execute the release configuration management process, the acceptance criteria validation process and the correct application of Service Level Agreements. SA1 contributes to the dissemination and training activities defined by NA2 by providing technical expertise, especially in the use of the project results by third-parties, such as users, system and service administrators, application developers and operating systems maintainers.
Work Packages. It is anticipated that the Construction Phase Work may be divided into one or more separate packages (individually, a "Work Package") which identify a specific scope of Work and which will be ready for commencement of construction before it is appropriate to arrive at an overall Guaranteed Maximum Price (as defined herein) for the entire Work. However, in the Owner’s discretion, the Work may be awarded in one Work Package for the entire Project with one Guaranteed Maximum Price.
Work Packages. 14.1 Each Work Package shall be in such format as may from time to time be agreed by the Strategic Project Board and shall provide for the following information to be specified and maintained: (a) accountable Task Team; (b) description of work to be carried out including milestones and quality plan; (c) description of outcomes to be delivered, including quality and timescale; (d) links to National Performance Indicators and any local area agreement targets; (e) resource plan, including resources internal and external to Councils, their phasing, and the strategy for their procurement; (f) authorised expenditure limit; (g) risks to delivery, including dependence on other work whether or not carried out under any Work Package; (h) matters to be reported to Strategic Project Board, including progress against milestones, resources used to date and forecast to be used to completion, issues and risks arising, issues referred to Strategic Project Board for resolution; (i) arrangements on termination of the Work Package; (j) dates of approval by Strategic Project Board of start of work and of satisfactory completion. 14.2 The Councils agree to provide the resources to facilitate the requirements contained in the Work Packages subject to compliance by National Grid with its commitments on the provision of funding. 14.3 National Grid agrees to fund such resources in accordance with paragraphs 15 and 16. 14.4 National Grid may serve notice of termination of a Work Package at any stage but in such event it will remain responsible for the actual costs unavoidably incurred by a Council or which a Council has a contractual obligation to pay at the date on which the Council received the notice of termination of the Work Package (so long as in both cases such costs would have otherwise been payable by National Grid pursuant to paragraphs 15 and 16). Any such costs shall be paid by National Grid in accordance with paragraphs 15 and 16. The Councils shall use their best endeavours to mitigate costs and redeploy resources so as to minimise the amount of these costs. 14.5 The Councils are free to choose to continue with a Work Package (or relevant part of it) even if National Grid are no longer under any commitment to fund that Work Package (or relevant part of it).

Work Packages. 6.1 The Council may at any time provide Hoople with a written request for Services substantially in the form of the draft template set out in Schedule 4 or in any other form that the parties may agree in writing from time to time. 6.2 Unless agreed otherwise, the parties shall agree the terms of the Work Package within 10 Business Days of the date of the request; 6.3 Where the Services are Services of the type which require the parties to agree a Statement of Work as part of the Work Package then that Statement of Work shall be agreed by the parties pursuant to clause 6.4. 6.4 Where the Services required by the Council are Services of the type which require the parties to agree a Statement of Work, then Hoople shall, at its cost and expense: 6.4.1 submit a draft Statement of Work to the Council within 10 Business Days of identification of the requirement; 6.4.2 promptly provide all necessary advice, support and assistance as may be required by the Council from time to time in considering the draft Statement of Work; 6.4.3 promptly, update and amend the draft Statement of Work from time to time as necessary as a result of its interactions with the Council pursuant to clause 6.4.2; and 6.4.4 Hoople sign the Statement of Work and provide it to the Council for signature when it is agreed. The signed Statement of Work shall complete the draft Work Package. 6.5 The Council shall be entitled to amend or withdraw a Work Package by giving Xxxxxx notice in writing in relation to any Services where performance has not commenced. 6.6 Each Work Package shall constitute a binding obligation on Hoople to supply the Services in accordance with the terms of the Work Package and this Agreement. 6.7 No variation to a Work Package shall be binding unless expressly agreed in writing and executed by a duly authorised signatory on behalf of the Council, or otherwise in accordance with the provisions of clause 9. 6.8 No Work Packages shall be placed following the date on which notice is validly served pursuant to clauses [7.5.1,]18 or 30.3, or the date on which the Agreement expires pursuant to clause 3. 6.9 Each Work Package shall form part of and be interpreted in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.

Work Packages. Each Partner shall undertake its obligations under the Project, including using reasonable endeavours to achieve the deliverables, milestones and timelines of each Work Package and to achieve each Stage Gate by the agreed deadline (each a “Stage Gate Deadline”), it being understood that a Party cannot assure a positive technical outcome or timeline for any Work Package. The Project is organised into one or more Work Packages and each Work Package has an associated budget as set out in the Budget. Each Partner shall use all reasonable endeavours to pursue and perform its obligations under each Work Package in accordance with the Budget. CEPI will pay each Partner in accordance with the Budget and, where applicable, upon completion of a Stage Gate (as determined pursuant to Clause 2.6). Additional Work Package(s) may be agreed in writing by the Parties after the Effective Date, which, upon execution by all Parties, shall be annexed to and become a part of this Agreement. Work Packages may be modified or extended with the mutual written consent of all Parties in accordance with Clause 21.6.

Work Packages. The Contractor shall develop the work breakdown structure to the third level or further to effectively plan the execution of the works. Work package development for the various disciplines shall follow from the third (or lower) level of the work breakdown structure.
