WORKER MEMBERSHIP AND AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURES. 1. EMPLOYMENT DOCUMENTS PROVIDED BY THE UNIVERSITY The University agrees to provide newly hired workers an Authorization form and a SEIU Membership form during the orientation process in which workers receive other standard employment documents. Upon receiving the worker’s signed authorization from the union, the University agrees to deduct from the pay of each worker any union membership dues, fees, contributions or COPE.
