HIPPA Compliance Program Requirements. 29 CONTRACTOR shall develop/maintain policies/procedures to comply with the provisions 30 of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) of 1996 and the current 31 rules and regulations enacted by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Any 1 violations of HIPAA rules and regulations shall be reported to the AGENCY as soon as 2 possible, along with CONTRACTOR’S actions to mitigate the effect of such violations.
