Xxxxx Time. During the time which the City maintains Bargaining Unit Employees on a twelve (12) hour work schedule, the City shall grant four (4) hours of “Xxxxx Time” every two weeks to each Bargaining Unit Member on a twelve (12) hour work schedule.

Xxxxx Time. Unless adjustments are made, members working a twelve (12) hour shift will annually result in hours worked per employee in excess of 2080 hours per year. To reduce scheduled work hours to the level of 2080 hours per year, it is agreed that time off for each officer each month (Xxxxx Xxx(s)), not to exceed twenty-four (24) hours, shall be scheduled administratively. Preference for this time off shall be granted on a rotational basis within squads depending upon staffing requirements.
Xxxxx Time a. In December of each year, each Assistant Chief serving on a regular shift will select a two (2) week period in January, February, March, or November, December. In the event the Officer does not select such days or in the event there is a conflict between Officer's selections, the Chief shall assign Xxxxx Days to the Officers affected. b. The provisions of section O.7.a. above notwithstanding, all Assistant Chiefs assigned to regular shifts shall receive Xxxxx Time in the form of 96 hours of cash or time, at the employee's option (see below), at the straight time rate; provided however, that should Section 207(e)(5) of the Fair Labor Standards Act be amended so that the payment of Xxxxx Time is no longer excludable when calculating an employee's regular rate of pay, this provision shall become null and void. Should this occur, all Assistant Chiefs assigned to regular shifts shall receive Xxxxx Time in the form of 96 hours of time off which shall be scheduled pursuant to Section O.7.a. above. c. Examples of employee's Xxxxx Time options: 96 hours off 96 hours paid 48 hours off, 48 hours paid d. Each employee electing to be paid for Xxxxx time shall elect one of the following payment options: All benefits to be paid in a lump sum payment on or before December 15th in the year in which the Xxxxx time is earned; or All benefits to be paid on an average weekly basis. e. Assistant Chiefs assigned to special duties shall not be eligible for Xxxxx Time.
Xxxxx Time. ‌ Lieutenants working the 12 hour rotation shall also receive 104 hours of “Xxxxx Time” annually. The 104 hours covers the additional 2 hours per week the Lieutenants are scheduled to work in lieu of overtime. The Lieutenants will receive the first increment of “Xxxxx Time” for 52 hours on January 1st. The second increment of 52 hours of “Xxxxx Time” will be allotted as of July 1st. The addition of “Xxxxx Time” will not affect the utilization of vacation time, comp time, personal time or sick time. All accrued time off will be taken by the hour. “Xxxxx Time” will not be earned for Lieutenants on Family Leave, Military Leave, or Disability (including injury off duty or injury on duty) while they are not physically working. “Xxxxx Time” will be pro-rated based on the amount of time the Lieutenant is not actively at work based on one of the reasons listed above. Fifty-two (52) hours of “Xxxxx Time” may be carried to the following year.
Xxxxx Time. The work year for all employees shall consist of 2080 hours. Each employee whose regularly scheduled work schedule results in him/her working in excess of the 2080 hours shall receive Xxxxx time for all such excess hours at the straight-time rate for regularly scheduled excess hours worked.
Xxxxx Time. Xxxxx time is a term used to describe the hours which represent the 9 difference between the normal 2080 hour work year (typical eight (8) hour work day, Monday 10 through Friday, 52 weeks a year) and the Patrol Officers’ 2190 hour work year (twelve- (12) 11 hour work day, four (4) days on, four (4) days off work schedule.) The difference between the 12 2080 hour work year and the twelve (12) hour shift, four (4) days on followed by four (4) days 13 off work schedule is 110 hours. These 110 hours are hereby referred to as “K-time.” 14 16 1. A full year’s K-time (110 hours) shall be credited to the patrol officer’s K- 17 time hours account on January 1st of each year and need not be earned to 18 be taken in time off. K-time hours cannot be taken in pay. However, if 19 the employee terminates employment from the Department during the 20 year, any unearned K-time hours taken previously shall be deducted from 21 the employee’s final pay. 22 23 2. Officers will be allowed to carry over up to forty-eight (48) hours of K- 24 time hours from one calendar year to the next. If an officer fails to utilize 25 K-time in excess of forty-eight (48) hours by December 31st, the Chief of 26 Police, or designee, will assign the balance of any excess hours remaining 27 during the next four (4) months at the Department’s discretion without 28 recourse. Exceptions may be granted only by the Chief of Police under 29 exigent circumstances. In such event the Chief of Police may have any 30 affected K-time hours carried over into the following year for use as time 31 off only. 33 3. K-time does not have preference over compensatory, holiday, floating 34 vacation or any other earned or credited time. 35

  • Flex Time Upon agreement of the supervisor's immediate supervisor, an individual flex-time schedule may be established.

  • Crib Time (i) When an Employee is required to work overtime after the usual ceasing time for the day or shift for two hours or more, he/she shall be allowed to take, without deduction of pay, a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time and thereafter, after each four hours of continuous work, he/she shall be allowed to take also, without deduction of pay, a crib time of 30 minutes in duration. (ii) In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two hours or more, he/she shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly.

  • Central Time After all Parties have been notified, the provisions of paragraphs (b) and (c) of this Section 2.1 shall apply.”

  • Pacific Time If enabled by Platform, the Same Day ACH means that the transfer will be performed within one (1) business day. Any same day ACH transfer scheduled after the cut-off time will be treated as if it were scheduled as next day ACH transfer. In some circumstances, transactions may be delayed for risk or compliance reasons.

  • Show Up Time An employee who reports to work in the usual manner without having been notified that there is no work available and is sent home because of lack of work before having worked four (4) hours shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. Each employee must inform the Employer of a means of being contacted on short notice. If an attempt is made by the Employer at least two (2) hours before the employee’s shift commences by way of the contact information provided, in an effort to inform the employee of a lack of work, and the Employer is unable to do so, the employee will not be entitled to show up time.

  • Xxxxx Period After payment of the first Dues, the Subscriber is entitled to a grace period of 30 days for the payment of any Dues due. During this grace period, the Agreement will remain in force. However, the Subscriber will be liable for payment of Dues accruing during the period the Agreement continues in force.

  • Eastern Time Upon receipt of Instructions, and upon your determination that there are good funds with respect to Instructions involving the purchase of shares, you will calculate the net purchase or redemption order for each Portfolio.

  • Wash-Up Time 37.01 Where the Employer determines there is a clear-cut need, wash-up time, to a maximum of ten (10) minutes immediately before the end of a work period, will be permitted.
